Back to Back Munster Champions!

A massive congratulations to our U17 Girls team who retained their Munster Junior Cup title and are now back-to-back Champions! They delivered a composed and confident performance and secured a hard-fought victory against resilient opponents. Each half was marked with goals, starting with Róisín Hanlon scoring our first after a rebound from a well struck free kick from captain Brooke Manley. Our final goal was scored in injury time by Eva Barry who managed to control the ball from a throw in by Molly Geary and slot the ball in the back of the net which secured the win for St. Peter’s. Special mention to our goalkeeper Chloe Walsh who was solid throughout and made some exceptional saves to make sure we kept a clean sheet! Finally, congratulations to our opponents, St. Michaels CC, who made their way to final in their first year of entering this competition – a huge achievement. Next up is the National Semi Final in February!
