Boys Basketball

Last week, our U16 and U19 Boys Basketball teams began their season with a set of away fixtures against Mayfield Community School, securing impressive victories in both matches.

The U16 team faced a challenging start, trailing for much of the game. Key scores from Ben Buckley and Victor Jimenez kept St. Peter’s within reach, and the team entered the final quarter 28–25 behind. A strong defensive display and a burst of scoring momentum in the closing stages saw St. Peter’s limit Mayfield to just four points, finishing with a well-earned 40–32 victory.

The U19 team also delivered an excellent performance, taking an early lead and maintaining control throughout the game. Scores from Joel Njanque, Rhema Mbakwe, and Golding Nduwuba helped secure a convincing 46–29 win for St. Peter’s.

Congratulations to all the players and to Coach Ms. Wallace on a fantastic start to the season.
