Transition Year Lacrosse

Some of our TYs recently participated in an introduction to Lacrosse workshop hosted by Cork Lacrosse @corklax and Cork Sports Partnership. Our students joined 3 other schools and were given an opportunity to learn the basic rules, skills and techniques of lacrosse in a fun and active environment. They also developed skills in passing, catching, shooting and teamwork through practical activities and mini-games.

Many thanks to Tony Devine for organising a fantastic event alongside coaches Kathleen Finnegan, Maddy Buss and Kate Loughney. Big congratulations to Molly Geary who won Best Female player on the day!
